Responsibilities

Serve as president of a small business in the butcher shop/food & beverage industry
Determine and be responsible for all business strategy, operations, and P&L management
Lead an experienced team of existing employee owners
Drive business growth through marketing, community outreach, expansion of product offerings, and new customer acquisition
Lead growth initiatives to improve operations, boost profitability, and pursue long-term sustainability
Collaborate on financial decisions with the internal bookkeeper and shop leads to manage ongoing expenses, capital investments, optimize efficiencies, and develop business metrics
Manage HR and personnel matters, including team development, employee performance, job reviews, raises, bonuses, and fostering a high-trust culture
Analyze business practices to identify opportunities for systemization, team development, and long-term scalability
Invest in local communities and build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners
Partner with Teamshares and employee-owners during the transition to employee ownership, instilling an owner’s mindset and coaching for shared success
