Network Engineer II (Remote)

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience, along with DoD Approved Baseline 8570 IAT Level III certification prior to employment. They require a TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph, demonstrating a strong understanding of spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP, VRFs, Cisco routers, switches, Nexus, and firewalls, as well as proficiency in cloud networking and essential TCP/IP concepts. Hands-on experience with NetApp and other storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and iSCSI, is also necessary, alongside experience in capacity planning, performance tuning, data center migrations, and storage replication.
The Network Architect will design, architect, configure, deploy, upgrade, and support government organization systems, including LANs, WANs, network segments, intranets, and data communication systems. They will manage fact-finding, analysis, and report delivery, conduct organizational analysis, work closely with specialists to prioritize requirements, coordinate with various teams, provide on-site support, diagnose and troubleshoot systems, oversee hardware and software installations, design network security measures, manage firewall policies, research and recommend hardware and software, operate monitoring tools, and create event alarms and reports.
