Candidates must possess 7+ years of hands-on experience in MQ Administration or WebSphere technologies, along with prior experience in federal government contracting and exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively are also required. US Citizenship and a DHS Secret Clearance are mandatory, and dual citizenship is not permitted. Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule.
The MQ Administrator will be responsible for operational monitoring of MQ systems, ensuring uptime, performance, and stability; managing security access and permissions; providing first-line troubleshooting and incident resolution; scheduling and applying updates and patches; managing backup and recovery operations; maintaining accurate records of configurations and changes; tracking resource usage and capacity; and collaborating with other IT teams and users to resolve issues and provide guidance on MQ system usage.
