A minimum of three years of experience in translation, linguistic quality assessment, copywriting, or copy-editing, with a specific focus on patents or technical content, is required. A deep understanding of biological and chemical terminology and the ability to adapt complex scientific language for target audiences are essential. Exceptional command of both English (en-US) and Mongolian (mn-MN) is necessary, along with proven experience in reviewing or translating patents or technical documents. Proficiency in using CAT tools for project management and quality assessment is also required.
The Mongolian Linguistic Specialist will perform translation, linguistic quality assessments (LQA), and quality control of translated content from English (en-US) to Mongolian (mn-MN). Responsibilities include identifying and correcting linguistic errors, ensuring consistency in terminology, style, and adherence to client-specific guidelines. The specialist will also provide detailed feedback to translators, create comprehensive quality reports, and ensure adherence to client-specific style guides, glossaries, and project guidelines, utilizing CAT tools for efficient review and assessment.
