Candidates should possess over 10 years of experience in monetization, product/growth marketing, PLG, and lifecycle strategy, preferably within digital, SaaS, or subscription businesses, holding a BS in Marketing, Business, or Economics (an MBA is a plus). Proficiency in analytical skills using tools like Excel, SQL, or data visualization platforms (Looker, Tableau) is required, along with experience in designing and executing pricing or monetization strategies. The role also demands strong communication, collaboration, project management, and leadership abilities, with experience in marketing, CRM, and experimentation tools (SFMC, Pardot, Braze, Airship, Optimizely) and analytics/tracking tools (Google Analytics, Amplitude, Tableau Looker, Tableau, BI). Experience in SaaS, mobile apps, marketplaces, or digital subscription businesses, particularly within a high-growth tech or product-led growth (PLG) company, and familiarity with A/B testing platforms and experimentation frameworks are essential.
The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will lead monetization initiatives to boost revenue, customer lifetime value, and business performance by developing and implementing strategic marketing plans. Responsibilities include analyzing customer behavior and market trends to identify high-value segments, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Ecommerce, Product, Data Science, Data Technology, Finance) to align monetization efforts with business goals, and launching A/B tests and promotional experiments to optimize revenue. The role involves testing and iterating on offers, pricing, and discounts to drive acquisition, expansion, and retention, contributing to new product launches with monetization frameworks, and launching new multichannel growth strategies. Additionally, the manager will monitor and report on key monetization KPIs, conduct competitor analysis for marketing strategy, and partner with data science to develop dashboards, forecasting models, and reporting structures for revenue KPIs.
