Requirements

Experience in engineering, mining technology, IT or previous knowledge in Caterpillar MineStar or other Fleet Management System Technologies (Onboard)
Ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges
A passion for mining operations and technology products
Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit

Responsibilities

Define mining site infrastructure, set up servers, install and configure MineStar products, and perform system upgrades with each new release
Support the deployment and commissioning of the onboard hardware and software
Conduct on-site visits to mining locations, ensuring seamless implementation and upgrades
Drive customer recognition of the incredible value of product features, improved processes, and change management
Enhance product-positioning knowledge for Caterpillar and provide feedback on product features and benefits
Identify and document job/application profiles based on real-world observations while working directly with customers
Elevate the industry’s perception of Caterpillar and actively participate in related mining associations
