Associates Degree in electrical/electronic technology
Valid State Driver's License
Within 24 months of employment, successfully complete the Company's training and qualification program including classroom instruction, written examination, job mentoring, and job performance demonstrations
Work overtime as needed including extended daily shifts and weekends; work late shifts as needed
Work independently under semi-direct supervision in a safe, efficient, and productive manner
Proficiently use computers and applications related to this position
Effectively communicate with other employees, customers, and the general public in a courteous and appropriate manner

Ability to perform Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Responsibilities
Install and maintain self-contained electric meters energized up to 240 volts in the shop and on customer premises
Read meters as required for field order and on schedule for cycle billing
Install, remove, change disconnect, and reconnect meters
Test singlephase, network, and polyphase self-contained meters for proper operation and accuracy
Program meters
Perform Credit and Collections related orders including disconnect and reconnect for non-payment
Investigate irregular usage
Investigate energy diversion
Repair meters, meter sockets, and meter enclosures
Order, receive, ship, store, and inventory meter and associated equipment
Investigate self-contained service power quality problems, install event recorders, neutral testers, and produce reports
