Requirements

  • Candidates must live in the United States
  • Willing to travel to attend twice annual Common App Retreat
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, communications, marketing, public relations or similar degree; or equivalent experience
  • Experience in community college higher education
  • 3-5 years of account management and/or business development experience
  • Deep understanding of the unique value and needs of community colleges
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Effective and persuasive presentation skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professionalism and customer service focused
  • Ability to understand organizational structure, products, and processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Support membership growth throughout all phases of the member recruitment lifecycle
  • Prospecting and recruitment
  • Welcoming and orientation
  • Transition to implementation and onboarding with a focus on community colleges
  • Help build and support partnership strategies based on the unique needs of community colleges
  • Support the development and execution of recruiting, education, and constituent development and engagement strategies
  • Positively promote the vision, mission, and brand of Common App through membership, events, and other special programs and projects
