Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following company steel standard guidelines, and correcting and reporting unsafe situations
- Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying members' needs; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues and concerns; promoting company products and services; providing guidance on self-service technology; processing member purchases; assisting with payments according to policies for different membership and payment types; assisting with transactions at registers or self-checkout; zoning the area; and arranging and organizing merchandise
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in business processes
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; determining and recommending improvements; and adapting to change, difficulties, and feedback
