Requirements

  • Active and current Pharmacy Technician License (experience will be considered in lieu of License)
  • Must be available at least two weeks per month for assignments
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of up-to-date vaccination status (Measles, Mumps & Rubella; Varicella; Negative TB Test; Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap); Hepatitis B; Influenza (seasonal); COVID-19 primary series and possibly boosters)
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Personal vehicle required for job-related assignments up to 3 hours from home
  • Located within 1 hour of a major airport
  • Full-time commitment with travel flexibility (per-diem, 1-2 assignments per month, 3-5 days each, regional and national travel)

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Pharmacy Technician expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device (closed system drug transfer device in oncology setting)
  • Educate end users on the product in hospital pharmacy facilities
  • Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience
  • Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to client during and after in-service assignments
