Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field, and possess at least one year of experience in a regulated clinical laboratory setting. Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) is highly desirable, although not mandatory. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and performing assigned testing procedures, specifically in Immunology (including Electrophoresis, ELISA, IFA, Phadia & Liaison testings), is required. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team are essential qualifications.
As a Medical Technologist (Immunology), you will skillfully collect and prepare biological samples for testing, conduct a wide range of tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids using both manual and automated techniques, analyze test results with precision and report findings to medical staff promptly, operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment, perform quality control checks and troubleshoot any issues to ensure reliable test results, adhere to established protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe laboratory environment, accurately document all test procedures and results, work closely with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and select appropriate tests, and stay updated with the latest advancements in laboratory testing and medical technology.
