Requirements

Candidates should possess a doctoral degree in a scientific discipline such as Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field, and have a strong understanding of medical devices, diagnostics, and clinical laboratory practices. Demonstrated experience in medical affairs, scientific communication, and KOL engagement is preferred, along with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

The Medical Science Liaison will serve as the medical/scientific voice of expertise for Abbott Point of Care (APOC) products and therapeutic areas, engaging with key customers and stakeholders to provide scientific and medical advice. They will conduct scientific exchange, deliver educational materials, and collaborate with thought leaders and external experts to build awareness and advocacy for APOC products. Additionally, the MSL will support the APOC commercial team, respond to unsolicited medical information requests, and maintain a high level of knowledge regarding scientific developments and clinical data.
