Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field, such as Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Medicine, and a minimum of 8 years of experience with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), MD, PhD, or DO degree. A minimum of 6 years of experience with an MSOR or 2 years with a PhD/PharmD is also required. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience with a medical degree.

Responsibilities

The Medical Science Liaison will deliver clinical, scientific, and educational presentations to healthcare providers in liver disease, both proactively and in response to requests for information, ensuring adherence to promotional compliance guidelines. They will develop strategic plans for cultivating relationships with thought leaders, provide insights into treatment trends, participate in advisory boards and educational programs, and collaborate with various functional areas including Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, and Commercial. The MSL will also complete administrative procedures, adhere to pharmaceutical codes, and support the deployment of field tools and resources.
