Requirements

The Senior Medical Director requires a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, or equivalent degree, and must possess at least 10 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical industry. Demonstrated expertise in regulatory requirements such as FDA, EMA, and international guidelines is essential, along with strong knowledge of clinical trial monitoring and risk management.

Responsibilities

This role involves providing global and regional medical leadership, mentoring and overseeing PV physicians, developing and managing resource allocation plans and budgets, serving as the primary point of contact between the PV physician group and other PV leaders, and supporting business development activities. The Senior Medical Director will also provide medical consultation and strategic direction, manage PV physicians globally, and oversee medical review and analysis of data for clinical trial serious adverse events and other client deliverables.
