Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, along with the ability to work independently and as a team member.
The Practice Coordinator will create a positive work environment and support in-office clinician and staff engagement activities, conduct schedule preparation for patients ensuring all paperwork is complete, manage general office duties including mail sorting and document scanning, provide exceptional customer service to patients via phone, email, and portal, manage queues within the phone system, assist patients with telehealth access and scheduling needs, collect co-payments and account balances, verify insurance eligibility, and provide general clinician support by assisting with administrative tasks and coordinating with clinicians regarding patient questions.
