Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in media engineering, with a strong understanding of video and audio systems. Experience with playout technology, studios, production control rooms, and remote production is highly desirable. A comprehensive theoretical and practical understanding of the technology powering content generation, monetization, and distribution is essential.
The Media Engineer II will transform the capability and flexibility of how Disney acquires, produces, and distributes content worldwide, ensuring high levels of quality, efficiency, and resiliency. They will work on numerous systems including Playout Technology, Studios, Production Control Rooms, Remote Production, Post-Production, and Contribution/Distribution, collaborating with regional business teams globally to advance the technical foundation for Disney’s media portfolio.
