Requirements

  • University degree in economics or business administration (MBA considered a plus)
  • High English level, Portuguese native
  • +8 years of experience in sales management and key account management in FMCG
  • Preferably experience as National Account Manager, Sales Manager, or senior Key Account Manager
  • Knowledge of current local customers
  • Awareness of commercial landscape and levers beyond Sales, contributing to growth and performance

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable sales growth through value creation, focusing on channel strategy, POS execution, and capability development
  • Develop and execute sales strategy in Mass Market Trade Channel to achieve distribution, visibility, and sales objectives aligned with BU initiatives and local needs
  • Ensure effective brands support in the trade and excellence in POS execution to increase HALEON market shares
  • Develop Sales Team Capabilities to manage customers at all levels (P&L, Promo Plan, tailored activities, NRM, Annual Agreements, International negotiations)
  • Ensure delivery of HALEON business targets by a motivated and engaged Mass Market Sales Team, with the right people in the right place
  • Understand, prioritize, and select the best channels and customers, defining strategies and tactics to achieve goals, including optimum route to market
  • Ensure best return for trade investment (Gross to Net), drive pricing leverage through trade terms and promotion investment
  • Define commercial approach/policy (Trade Terms) and monitor implementation throughout the year, ensuring channel P&L
  • Work with customers to optimise category performance, achieving winning distribution, right range and assortment, merchandising, and in-store shopper initiatives
  • Ensure effective management and engagement with key accounts to plan, build, and execute in-store against mutually agreed priorities, with KPI measurement
  • Select, attract, train, and motivate people to attain high performance standards; inspire and engage teams to drive growth, upgrade capabilities, and foster talent development
  • Active member of the Leadership Team, providing transparent and timely input on market situation, competition activities, and Haleon’s performance
  • Comply with Haleon policy and legislation; ensure proper communication and adherence by the sales team
  • Support Finance and actively manage customer relationships to assure healthy DSO at agreed levels through structured monthly review processes
