Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
  • Five to seven years of marketing experience
  • Three to five years of tradeshow and event experience (preferred)
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities within tight time constraints
  • Do-what-it-takes mindset to execute against strategy
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and eager to have an impact on a rapidly growing organization
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, marketing automation tools, and Wrike (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage high-profile company-hosted and third-party events, including planning, logistics, and execution
  • Collaborate with team to develop and execute on an events strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives
  • Ensure events are executed within budget while maximizing ROI
  • Coordinate tradeshow logistics including contracts, booth design, giveaways, and booth staff
  • Collaborate with the greater marketing team to ensure a consistent and cohesive Fortra message and plan promotional materials
  • Manage relationships and contracts with vendors and other third-party providers
  • Provide on-the-ground support during events, ensuring all activities run smoothly and addressing any issues that arise
  • Work closely with the greater marketing team to define and optimize lead routing and tracking post-event
  • Measure and track event performance by analyzing data and conducting post-event evaluations with participants and stakeholders
  • Continuously work towards improving and optimizing the event experience for prospects and customers
  • Provide guidance to Leads and Coordinators, supporting their development and execution
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to execute events on time and on budget, including presenters, technical resources, and sales
  • Contribute to the development of the global events strategy and mentor junior team members
  • Other duties as assigned
