Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certification (CIA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent) is a strong advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in internal audit, external audit, or compliance/risk management (experience in marketing funds, channel incentives, or POP audit highly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), risk-based auditing methodologies, and SOX-like requirements
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis; experience with Power BI, ACL, or similar audit tools is a plus
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple audits simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative to improve processes and drive results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; able to present complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in a multinational environment and familiarity with global marketing programs is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed audits and reviews of partner-submitted Proof-of-Performance (POP) materials, claims, and reimbursements for co-marketing and incentive programs across EMEA and global regions
  • Execute walkthroughs and testing of key financial and operational controls related to marketing funds usage, approval workflows, and compliance with internal policies and regional regulations
  • Identify control weaknesses, noncompliance issues, fraud risks, or policy violations through data analysis and evidence review
  • Prepare clear, structured audit reports highlighting findings, root causes, risk impact, and actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with Finance, Program Owners, and Partner Marketing teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Monitor, track, and validate the timely closure of audit findings and remediation plans
  • Contribute to the development and continuous refinement of the annual POP audit plan, including risk assessment, scoping, sampling methodology, and testing strategies
  • Support process improvement initiatives to strengthen controls, reduce audit exceptions, and enhance overall program governance
  • Act as an independent, objective assurance partner while maintaining positive relationships with regional marketing and finance stakeholders
