Responsibilities

  • Accountable for budgeted and year-over-year revenue growth
  • Spend at least 4 days per week in the field with sales employees, referrals, and other decision makers
  • Work one-on-one with sales employees to assess skills and knowledge by accompanying on sales calls and observing performance
  • Provide coaching and model desired behaviors to enhance employees' understanding of concepts and techniques
  • Cultivate and promote a culture reinforcing Apria’s vision and core values by creating a diverse, inclusive, and psychologically safe work environment
  • Ensure sales force has necessary skills and knowledge by delivering training (small/large groups, one-on-one, virtual/in-person) on selling products/services and using sales tools/resources for new/tenured employees and managers
  • Provide feedback and recommend future training programs to Corporate Sales Training for national development
  • Create an inspiring team atmosphere with open communication
  • Maintain big-picture perspective linking programs, activities, and communications for cohesive employee experience
  • Set clear, concise, attainable team goals
  • Motivate team members to be fully engaged and perform at fullest potential
  • Lead by example with clear direction, candid feedback, and communication style building trust and optimism
  • Recognize high performance, encourage creativity, and reward accomplishments
  • Serve as market subject matter expert on new sales initiatives/programs, monitoring and providing feedback to identify/correct issues
  • Manage full-time sales employees, including hiring, coaching, managing, and in-field training

  • Provide input on sales training curriculum and materials for national use
