Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent business experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a Market HR or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, labor relations, performance management, and talent development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with managers and employees
  • Ability to manage across a diverse workforce, promoting diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the organization

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams with potential people management responsibility within a geography
  • Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with regional and global business strategies, incorporating industry and market trends
  • Implement retention strategies, execute retention agreements per local requirements, provide feedback on local nuances, and escalate issues like flight risks or compensation
  • Support rollout of global and regional talent management and development initiatives, partnering with managers and employees
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures reflecting market conditions and company philosophy; ensure local compliance
  • Oversee resolution of employee relations issues, escalate as needed, partner with Works Councils and Unions, and assist with Performance Improvement plans (L4 and below)
  • Maintain positive organizational culture aligned with values and mission, promote DE&I, drive local implementation of global initiatives, and coach on processes like performance management and conflict resolution
  • Assist with rollout of change initiatives and communication campaigns, support building change management materials, gather stakeholder feedback, and ensure full implementation
  • Ensure compliance with HR-related laws, regulations, labor laws, employment standards, local norms, and health/safety regulations; partner with security team
  • Monitor and drive key HR processes (e.g., merit, goals, bonus, SIP, performance reviews, Code of Conduct)
