Responsibilities

Work within Manufacturing Test Engineering through placements across different stages of the manufacturing process
Rotate through teams in areas such as Circuit Card Assembly, Actuators and Control Equipment, Seekers and Datalinks, Inert Missile, Platform Equipment and Cables, and Manufacturing Test Development
Diagnose and fault find on non-conforming products or equipment
Author instructions and/or specifications
Draft and publish drawing packs
Analyse test and production related data
Introduce new innovative products and equipment into Manufacturing
Support process improvements
Collaborate with other areas of the business, including Product Design, Test Equipment Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Assurance
Spend time in external placements (three months per year for first three years) and a single extended placement in the fourth year
Study towards a fully funded BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Bolton University over four years
