Responsibilities

  • Accountable for meeting/exceeding business objectives including safety, quality, delivery, customer experience, people development, and cost
  • Allocate and lead resources based on customer demand, repair schedule, and standards
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through support of business/process improvements (e.g., 6S, lean manufacturing)
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement projects through teamwork, empowerment, consultative problem solving, honesty, integrity, and high customer service
  • Evaluate employee performance (e.g., talent reviews, annual reviews) and enforce company policies through disciplinary measures (with guidance)
  • Develop and drive accountability for meaningful performance objectives collaboratively
  • Provide developmental coaching/guidance in performance management, communication, and policy adherence
  • Handle recruitment and hiring of talent
  • Forecast and predict recruitment needs for temporary/permanent talent and conversions
  • Manage labor through OT approval and timecard management
  • Drive employee engagement by fostering inclusion, personal growth, and development
  • Manage technical aspects, understand root causes of issues, and implement resolutions
  • Anticipate/predict line down issues and partner with support staff to avoid production delays
  • Identify, prioritize, and lead cost reduction initiatives to meet financial projections
