Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
  • Direct experience with mid-volume (1,000s) manufacturing
  • Proven expertise in Design-for-Manufacturability for complex systems integrating electronics, optoelectronics, and optics
  • Ability to lead a small team and constructively work with R&D lead

Responsibilities

  • Lead Design-for-Manufacturability (DFM) efforts for enterprise-class products
  • Work closely with R&D and production teams to optimize electronics, optoelectronics, and optical systems for manufacturing
  • Develop and implement cost-reduction and reliability improvement strategies
  • Manage relationships with OEMs, ODMs, and manufacturing partners to streamline production
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (Mil-Std-Class desirable)
  • Collaborate on supply chain management to optimize component sourcing and logistics
  • Work with R&D and production teams to maintain quality control
