B.S. in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
Direct experience with mid-volume (1,000s) manufacturing
Proven expertise in Design-for-Manufacturability for complex systems integrating electronics, optoelectronics, and optics
Ability to lead a small team and constructively work with R&D lead

Responsibilities

Lead Design-for-Manufacturability (DFM) efforts for enterprise-class products
Work closely with R&D and production teams to optimize electronics, optoelectronics, and optical systems for manufacturing
Develop and implement cost-reduction and reliability improvement strategies
Manage relationships with OEMs, ODMs, and manufacturing partners to streamline production
Ensure compliance with industry standards (Mil-Std-Class desirable)
Collaborate on supply chain management to optimize component sourcing and logistics
Work with R&D and production teams to maintain quality control
