Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in finance/procurement field in a multinational company or consulting/audit firm with experience in cross-functional work/project
  • Fluent in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English with presentation/communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different cultures
  • Project management skills, ability to think and work independently
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build credibility and influence business partners

  • Experience in business dealings with suppliers, particularly in contract negotiations

  • Commute within 90km and 90 minutes by public transport from nearest station to Nishishin factory (relocation required if not, with company housing available)

Responsibilities

  • Gain deep understanding of the Seishin manufacturing business and deliver business insights based on data analysis and strategic mindset
  • Take a lead role during the processes of business planning and strategic planning by providing financial analysis and insight
  • Conduct monthly analysis of key financial indicators, such as variance drivers, update SLT members, and report to global finance
  • Manage OPEX and Capital expenditure for Seishin plant under the budget
  • Serve as the subject matter expert within Seishin Plant, responsible for accurately loading F09, V0 forecasts into SAP
  • Lead ad-hoc projects and business case analyses
  • As representative of Mfg. Procurement at Seishin/Japan, develop procurement strategy and make Seishin Mfg’s diverse supply base a source of competitive advantage
  • Manage sourcing and procurement operations (both MRP and Non-MRP) at Seishin Mfg. organization in accordance with FRAP, Global Procurement Policy/Standard and/or any related legal/regulatory requirements
  • Be responsible for business contract management with supplier for Seishin Mfg
  • Support Lilly Global Manufacturing Procurement for sourcing from Japanese suppliers
  • Manage Mfg. Procurement team members
  • Participate in Japan Affiliate Procurement Committee as Mfg. Procurement Representative if necessary
