Requirements

Technical or university degree in an appropriate field
Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems
Understanding of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs
Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams and address performance and conflicts
Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects
Additional knowledge or experience in Engineering Systems / Integration to SAP/Teamcenter, Product Knowledge / Process / Applications, Order Management Process, SAP MM, PP, S&D, Product Outline Compatibility, Lean / Six Sigma principles, Project Management, Team Management

Responsibilities

Manage and guide the team to support deploying and maintaining Product configuration of Machines in SAP/Teamcenter and other Caterpillar systems to manufacturing facilities
Provide coordination to cross-functional teams to accomplish order to delivery support needs
Support machine product compatibility requirements for all Business Unit / Product Group New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, transitioning product to new manufacturing source facilities, and introduction of product for Joint Ventures and Mergers and Acquisitions
Support development and deployment of LEAN throughout order data management processes
Participate in Caterpillar Order Environment development activities and related business process enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency of prime product order management
Manage staffing, development, and performance management programs by motivating and developing project and team leaders
Manage high-impact, short and long duration process initiatives and projects; ensure achievement of process compliance and product quality
Maintain product configuration and drive programs to completion on time and within budget
Handle assignments including Deployment of ERP in Manufacturing facilities, Maintaining of machine configuration in Caterpillar systems
Coordinate with NPI to launch new products; update current machines with appropriate engineering changes, resource management, systems planning, process standards
Coordinate all disciplines to develop and deliver effective product configuration solutions leveraging Caterpillar systems and industry best practices
Effectively communicate with business customers and maintain relationships across commercial product groups
Assist team members and customers with problem solving related to order to delivery support; participate on problems outside specific assignment to ensure business operations are not interrupted or delayed
