Requirements

  • Good understanding of building and construction equipment Assembly, Test or Finish processes and production
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety Awareness and Controls
  • Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter (advantageous)
  • Experience of quality concern resolution with tools such as 8D, 5why, fishbone diagrams and other appropriate quality tools
  • Ability to commit to afternoon shift: Mon–Wed 16:30–02:30, Thu 16:30–02:00

Responsibilities

  • Driving manufacturing best practices into the production environment
  • Complete root cause analysis for quality & inefficiency improvements to implement robust process containment measures
  • Facilitate the development of manufacturing process solutions work with functional teams, using a range of tools e.g. process flows, PFMEA’s, control plans. Promote lean and quality as a focus within the business
  • CAD software utilisation; Design of jigs, fixtures, updating floorplans and completing virtual builds
  • Adhere to the company's Health and Safety policy and safe working practices
  • Adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork, & Sustainability
