Requirements

Good understanding of building and construction equipment Assembly, Test or Finish processes and production
Strong understanding of Health & Safety Awareness and Controls
Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter (advantageous)
Experience of quality concern resolution with tools such as 8D, 5why, fishbone diagrams and other appropriate quality tools
Ability to commit to afternoon shift: Mon–Wed 16:30–02:30, Thu 16:30–02:00

Responsibilities

Driving manufacturing best practices into the production environment
Complete root cause analysis for quality & inefficiency improvements to implement robust process containment measures
Facilitate the development of manufacturing process solutions work with functional teams, using a range of tools e.g. process flows, PFMEA’s, control plans. Promote lean and quality as a focus within the business
CAD software utilisation; Design of jigs, fixtures, updating floorplans and completing virtual builds
Adhere to the company's Health and Safety policy and safe working practices
Adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork, & Sustainability
