Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple aircraft during the production process, ensuring timely progression through production stages
  • Track progress and initiate measures to address Non-Conformities (NCs), escalating issues when necessary
  • Prepare, coordinate, and moderate production meetings to align stakeholders and ensure progress
  • Coordinate follow-up and remaining work with all relevant stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and external partners
  • Act as an interface to suppliers, risk-share partners, and, if necessary, the end customer
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration to resolve production challenges
  • Monitor material forecasts for initial versions (Head of Version) to ensure availability and alignment with production schedules
  • Conduct risk assessments, including early warnings to internal clients, and implement countermeasures to mitigate risks
  • Ensure adherence to On-Time, On-Cost, and On-Quality (OTD/OQD) goals
  • Prepare Quality Gates and ensure the seamless handover of aircraft to the next production process stage
  • Adhere to defined processes within the certified quality management system to maintain high standards
  • Report on the work progress of the aircraft under your supervision, including folio management and schedule updates
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on production status and key milestones
