Requirements

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with an ability to learn and apply new things
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), CAD software, Test Instrumentation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize based on due dates or importance
  • Available to start on May 18, 2026, and participate through August 7, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains engineered time standards for direct labor operations
  • Establishes methods and processes for assembly, welding, paint line and related material handling on new products and equipment
  • Works with department supervisors and value stream manufacturing engineers with implementation of new methods and processes
  • Makes recommendations for improving safety, quality, or productivity activities
  • Implements proper ergonomics in work station setup, processes, tooling and safety equipment
  • Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved
  • Creates necessary documentation (standard work, Heijunka cards, etc) for all new product launches
  • Collaborate across all functions of the business and learn what it takes to be part of a great team
