Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in heavy/industrial manufacturing environment
Ability to read, write and communicate
High School Diploma/GED required
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push and pull for long periods of time
Able to climb a ladder and flex the upper and lower body

Responsibilities

Executing basic machine operation skills
Maintaining flexibility in responding to changing production schedules
Actively participating in daily management
Sustaining safety and quality in all actions
Adhering to detailed work instructions
Utilizing effective problem-solving skills
Maintaining professional communications to support the goals of the manufacturing facility
Working closely within an Operations team to support customers
Driving continuous improvement and modeling Core Behaviors
Interfacing with Quality and Safety functions within the plant
Reading, writing and understanding Standard Operating Procedures and following standard work
Conducting daily 5S activities within a value stream to ensure safe work conditions
Performing basic mathematical tasks to complete an hourly scorecard
