Requirements

  • Experience in a high-throughput, fast-paced laboratory manufacturing environment (relevant experience will be considered)
  • Knowledge of molecular and cell biology processes and techniques, particularly PCR, DNA quantitation, purification, and cloning
  • Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow good manufacturing practices (GMP)
  • Team player with strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture high-quality custom products in a high-throughput manufacturing lab according to established SOPs
  • Operate laboratory equipment and liquid handling robots (e.g., Hamilton Stars, bioanalyzers, centrifuges, sealers, thermocyclers, spectrometers, Illumina Next-Gen sequencers)
  • Utilize molecular and cell biology processes and techniques
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and detailed documentation of all work performed using existing document templates and software applications
  • Update and write work instructions and documentation
  • Troubleshoot issues and handle process deviations with the assistance of Leads and Supervisors
  • Package and/or organize products for shipping
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO practices
  • Learn and adopt lean manufacturing concepts
  • Complete daily assigned tasks to maintain the manufacturing schedule and report back to Lead and Supervisor
