  • 15+ years in senior talent leadership roles within private equity, operating environments, or consulting, with a proven track record of driving talent and organizational transformations
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or graduate degree is an asset
  • Relevant certifications in talent assessment and organizational behavior
  • Deep expertise in talent assessment, development, and succession planning for C-suite executives across multiple industries
  • Strong understanding of portfolio company operations and HR in performance improvement contexts
  • Knowledge of private equity value creation methodologies and operational improvement
  • Experience working with C-suite executives and boards on talent, transformation, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale change and build best practices from the ground up with diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Establish Talent CoE as the central hub for talent expertise, creating best-in-class standards, frameworks, and playbooks for management assessments pre- and post-deal
  • Serve as strategic advisor to asset management teams, value creation teams, and portfolio companies on organizational effectiveness and talent execution
  • Lead talent initiatives including assessment, performance management, succession planning, and executive development
  • Drive executive talent search strategies and foster relationships to support recruitment needs
  • Guide compensation and incentives, providing expertise in specialized areas often challenging in-house
  • Manage board talent to enhance governance and business performance
  • Ensure capacity to execute, aligning internal and external resources for portfolio companies
  • Support due diligence by evaluating talent opportunities pre-investment and developing C-suite assessment best practices post-deal
  • Develop expert resources for executive compensation, coaching, and board effectiveness
  • Build data-driven frameworks, KPIs, and analytics to inform talent decisions
  • Partner with Global Sector MDs to deliver talent-related initiatives across sectors and assist deal teams during diligence for new investments
