Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in competitive intelligence, vendor management, market research, or data strategy
  • Strong experience working with external research/data vendors and managing performance or SLAs
  • Working knowledge of competitive data methodology, telecommunications products, or market analysis
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong attention to detail
  • Experience collaborating with Finance, analytics teams, and insights partners preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Owns and leads the competitive sweep strategy, ensuring alignment of methodologies, markets, and vendor execution to enterprise priorities
  • Manages daily interactions with competitive intelligence vendors, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete delivery across all competitive research types (pricing, product, availability, CX, mobile, and market assets)
  • Oversees vendor performance, including SLAs, quality control, escalation management, and delivery improvements
  • Partners closely with Finance and EBI to integrate competitive asset data into financial modeling, market valuation, and strategic reporting
  • Leads the strategy and requirements for evolving the Company’s core competitive data assets (pricing databases, availability maps, product lineups, feed enhancements)
  • Ensures competitive datasets support quarterly and monthly executive deliverables, including Earnings Prep, Competitive Briefings, and the Monthly Business Review
  • Ensures internal partners receive clear, actionable summaries of competitive data trends, shifts, and anomalies
  • Collaborates with Product, Pricing, GTM, and Divisions to ensure data quality supports operational and strategic needs
  • Maintains documentation, scoring frameworks, and audit trails for competitive data collection and validation
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
