Requirements

Hands-on expert knowledge of each Unit Operation in Cell Therapy manufacturing
Ability to perform Cell Therapy manufacturing to demonstrate good execution, backfill for absent team members, and meet production schedules
Technical expertise in CAR-T Manufacturing requirements
Availability for Wednesday - Saturday shift (with every other Wednesday off), onsite, 5 a.m. - 5:30 p.m

Responsibilities

Leads by example and drives team to adhere to BMS values: Inclusion, Accountability, Innovation, Urgency, and Passion
Ensures Work Centered Team (WCT) executes manufacturing of Cell Therapy products according to cGMPs, approved SOPs, and Work Instructions (WIs)
Takes personal responsibility for safety, ensures team works safely, performs regular safety Gemba walks, knows hazards, demonstrates safe behavior, and operates/maintains equipment to prevent injuries/incidents
Accountable for Production Records produced by WCT; performs batch record reviews (BRR) or Electronic Batch Record review by exception
Ensures all documentation follows ALCOA+ principles, is right first time, complete, accurate; resolves errors/corrections to enforce manufacturing turnaround times
Provides Production Scheduling team with daily/weekly/monthly information on WCT production resource availability; tracks records of actual vs. planned/unplanned absences
Hires personnel meeting job description criteria, BMS values, budgetary, and fiscal requirements
Sets WCT priorities and adjusts as necessary
Maintains a culture of safety, compliance, innovation, and Continuous Improvement within Manufacturing Operations
