Requirements

Expertise in total rewards, payroll, and HRIS management
Experience in HR operations within hospitality, adventure, or mountain resort environments preferred
Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations and HRIS systems (e.g., implementation, maintenance, optimization)
Ability to collaborate across teams in a shared services model supporting multiple businesses (CMH and MWHS)
Leadership skills to manage processes, drive improvements, and ensure compliance
Alignment with company values: safety, integrity, teamwork, passion, and balance of social/fiscal/environmental responsibilities
Eligibility to work in Canada (Banff, AB location)

Responsibilities

Oversee total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and recognition strategies
Manage payroll operations for CMH and Mike Wiegele Heli-Skiing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
Lead HRIS administration, including system configuration, data integrity, reporting, and user support
Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, systems, and employee experience
Collaborate with VP, Employee Experience and cross-functional teams to support business growth
Ensure alignment with Alterra Mountain Company standards, safety protocols, and operational excellence
Analyze metrics and provide insights to optimize total rewards, payroll, and HRIS effectiveness
