Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in tier 1 technical support / engineering roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology qualifications desired
  • ITIL or equivalent desired
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully communicate with customers
  • Moderate level of regional and state travel is required which includes field site work and customer engagement

Responsibilities

  • Providing expert engineering support to address technical customer queries across metrology and Sensus portfolio
  • Supporting the Product & Application Manager in testing new roadmap items / features across the product range
  • Developing and managing detailed technical responses for tenders
  • Overseeing end-to-end RMA processes to ensure efficient resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Triaging and diagnosing metering queries and issues with precision and efficiency
  • Offering direct, high-quality technical guidance to tier 1 utilities, partners, and distributors
  • Maintaining and building robust knowledge base articles and best practices
  • Conducting training programs to enhance technical proficiency for customers and partners
  • Driving innovation through solution selling that aligns with customer needs and business goals
  • Leading and delivering exceptional technical support and guidance for customers, partners, and distributors across the Australia and New Zealand region for Sensus metering solutions
  • Ensuring the seamless operation and optimisation of water metering solutions, including IoT water meters, platforms, and networking, by leveraging advanced technical expertise in metrology and IoT devices
