Foster a Culture of Innovation: Recruit, mentor, and lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team of 10 software systems engineers in Raleigh, NC, driving a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Develop and Optimize Embedded and Digital Products: Oversee the development and optimization of software and systems for the Novum IQ Infusion Platform, ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory and safety standards for medical devices
Drive Agile Development: Champion an Agile development culture within the team, advocating for the benefits of Agile methodologies and promoting the adoption and integration of Agile practices across the software engineering team
Lead Software Requirements and Risk Management: Develop and manage software requirements and risk management for software projects, ensuring that software and systems meet clinical and user needs
Represent the Team: Represent the systems software engineering team in meetings, presentations, and other communications with internal and external stakeholders
Identify and Mitigate Technical Risks: Identify technical risks throughout the product development lifecycle and drive cross-functional mitigations to those risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving excellence in software development
Coach, Mentor, and Motivate: Effectively coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve outstanding performance, taking ownership of deliverables and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery
