Requirements

8+ years of social media experience in a consumer-facing brand with >500k followers
Deep expertise across Babylist’s core social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and especially TikTok
True TikTok native: understand how organic content thrives, work with creators and trends in real time, know which trends to jump on or skip to align with brand voice and build trust
Strategic thinker with proven ability to scale social programs, grow audiences, and deliver measurable results
Hands-on content creator with experience producing platform-native content, including short-form video (storyboarded, filmed, edited, and optimized TikToks)
Strong creative judgment and trend fluency: connect pop culture with brand relevance
Analytical and data-driven: translate social insights into pivots and high-impact content decisions
Experience with branded social content and deep understanding of effective brand partnerships on social

Responsibilities

Drive the next era of Babylist’s social presence: increase engagement, build community, create thumb-stopping content for parents and parents-to-be
Redefine social at Babylist creatively and strategically
Partner with Director of PR and Social to raise the creative bar, ensuring high taste level, cultural fluency, and audience understanding
Collaborate cross-functionally with PR/influencer, brand partnerships, acquisition, editorial, and creative teams for integrated social efforts
Outline quarterly social strategies
Produce hands-on content, including shooting and editing TikToks for same-day turnaround
