Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in product support management or a similar role, with proven experience managing, coaching, and elevating a team. A customer-first mentality and demonstrated background in delivering exceptional customer experiences are essential. Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Zendesk or other ticketing systems, and Slack is required. Excellent communication skills via Zoom and Slack, with the ability to communicate both synchronously and asynchronously, are necessary. Experience building out teams, working in technology-driven environments with exposure to cybersecurity tools and best practices, and familiarity with EDR, ITDR, and/or SIEM platforms are also required. Experience collaborating with SOC teams on incident escalations, security investigations, and the secure handling of sensitive customer data is a plus.
The Manager, SOC Support will manage a team of SOC support professionals across several shifts and levels of experience. They will develop and deliver on the team's key metrics, operating procedures, and overall performance. This role involves leading the team through coaching, development, coordination, and communication, and managing day-to-day operations to ensure timely and effective request resolution. The manager will serve as a point of escalation, mentor, and knowledge resource for employees, building credibility and trust within the support group. Additionally, they will stay abreast of best practices and industry standards to continuously improve the support offering and partner experience.
