Responsibilities

Build, hire, and develop a high-performing team of 4-5 security engineers with expertise in application security, infrastructure security, and corporate security
Coach team members through complex security problems
Set team priorities and architectural direction
Establish security policies and architecture standards as advisors to Product Engineering, Platform Engineering, and IT teams
Conduct threat modeling and design reviews for critical systems
Create implementation guidance for engineering teams
Develop customer-facing security documentation and participate in enterprise security discussions
Build processes for design reviews and architecture guidance that scale with growth
Develop a 6-12 month roadmap aligned with Lambda's 2026 security strategic plan, including compliance initiatives like ISO 27001
Foster a culture where security judgment accelerates business velocity
