Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience, including team leadership
  • Proven ability to deliver scalable software in agile, cloud-based environments
  • Expertise in .NET, Angular, Postgres, SQL Server, and/or Oracle
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience supporting production systems and resolving complex technical issues
  • Based in or able to work from the United States (remote/hybrid/on-site)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a hands-on engineering team focused on reusable libraries and platform enablement
  • Hire and develop technical talent; conduct one-on-ones, goal setting, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Collaborate with product, architects, QA, and other engineering teams to plan and execute software delivery
  • Drive adoption of modern technologies, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices
  • Oversee roadmaps, budgets, and team capacity planning while managing escalations and Level 4 support
  • Champion secure application development and compliance in a regulated environment
  • Develop change management strategies and clarity in solution design to reduce cross-team friction
  • Continuously evaluate engineering tools, promote best practices, and improve developer productivity
