Responsibilities

The Manager Project Management - Mainframe Applications will serve as the gatekeeper for changes and enhancements to existing systems, including the creation of new ones, and will manage over a hundred batch jobs, maintaining and modifying them to align with changing business directions. They will also be responsible for creating DB2 queries and SAS batch queries, working with flat files and DB2 tables, and utilizing Rumba applications and tools. Furthermore, the role involves taking data from the mainframe and integrating it into existing reporting systems or creating new reports, utilizing Alteryx and Tableau or Excel for data preparation and presentation, and potentially leveraging Google Cloud for data migration.
