Responsibilities

Provide vision, strategy, and leadership for plant operations and maintenance to achieve highest standards of quality, customer satisfaction, delivery, service, and manufacturing capability at competitive costs
Partner with Quality Assurance in implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system
Assure compliance to all procedures and policies concerning quality, regulatory, safety, and human resources
Initiate and implement actions to maximize profits by containing expenses through improved operating and cost efficiencies
Develop, approve, and meet financial budgets, plans, and updates
Recruit, train, develop, reward, and recognize personnel to achieve targeted strategies and goals
Create the appropriate organization structure to reflect and achieve current/planned goals and objectives
Ensure performance, quality, cost, schedule, profit, and customer satisfaction targets are achieved with risks identified and mitigated and opportunities exercised
Establish interfaces with Divisional/Corporate management to assess customer needs and assure accurate project or program technical direction for operations engineering and manufacturing
Assist in new product launches, production and engineering improvements, product testing, etc
Assure timely and relevant communications to and from all levels
