Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration, with expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
  • 1+ years of experience working on data products and platforms powering digital experiences
  • 1+ years working with cross functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL
  • 3+ years of experience in modern data technology (AWS, Kafka, Snowflake)

Responsibilities

  • Apply discovery and research techniques to identify internal customer pain points
  • Break down business epics into features and further into user stories
  • Write acceptance criteria and lead refinement efforts with the engineering team
  • Evaluate and explore new technical approaches to solve customer needs
  • Drive day-to-day prioritization of work, troubleshoot reported issues, and oversee releases
  • Research and troubleshoot data-related issues from the data user communities
  • Conduct data analysis to drive insights into new product features
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Capital One Product Framework: Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, Transformational Leadership
