Responsibilities

  • Drive the Discover Network integration program to completion on the legacy vendor platform while partnering closely with Spend Processing Solutions stakeholders (and beyond) to deliver a well-managed migration to the target state Spend Processing Solutions platform
  • Cultivate a deep, horizontal understanding of payments product strategy, credit intent, upstream and downstream payment lifecycle processes, decisioning technology, controls, and customer-facing experiences that are impacted by credit card issuer authorization transaction processing flows or data
  • Contribute to and deliver on a product roadmap that works backwards from stakeholder needs as supporting the Discover Program
  • Oversee an agile delivery operational model with external vendor in partnership with internal tech and system integration team resources
  • Enable refinement, execution, and adoption of automated testing capabilities and data governance strategies that reduce manual effort and increase the likelihood of detecting intent or execution errors prior to customer impact
  • Ensure Capital One remains in good standing with payment networks by supporting thorough impact assessments and change validations for semi-annual and ad-hoc issuer compliance workstreams
