Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or Highschool Equivalency required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience)
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in Master Data Management or related fields such as Foodservice, Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail Distribution, Category Management, Supply Chain, or Digital Asset Management
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in master data management, e-commerce, and project management (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Understanding of data flows between MDM, DAM, eCommerce, and backend systems
  • English Proficiency
  • Ability to drive decisions independently and collaboratively, assess situations, apply sound judgment, and take initiative

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of One Sysco Data (OSD) capabilities, including Images, Features & Benefits, Taxonomy/Attribution, and Sysco Supplier Suite (SSS)
  • Manage day-to-day team operations and support process improvements through automation and operational efficiencies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data acquisition, governance, and compliance across Item and Supplier Master Data Management attributes
  • Partner with the Director, Item and Supplier Management, to implement data strategies and support initiatives related to the acquisition and management of Item and Supplier Data
  • Operationalize data solutions based on business requirements from Merchandising, eCommerce, Sales, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Personalization, Pricing, and Regulatory/Compliance
  • Support the execution of processes for Images, Features & Benefits, Taxonomy/Attribution, and Sysco Supplier Suite/eCommerce
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain Item and Supplier MDM standards and requirements
  • Assist in the coordination of technology-related activities with Sysco Technology teams, including testing and deployment of MDM functionality
  • Monitor and support supplier data compliance efforts in partnership with Merchandising teams
  • Prioritize and manage requests for content updates and enhancements across OSD capabilities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation and proactively work towards solutions
  • Provide guidance to team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment
