  • Experience in managing and mentoring junior contributors, and in developing and implementing processes and systems
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, with the ability to engage with key collectors, dealers, and industry partners
  • Ability to translate expert knowledge into clear recommendations for leaders and partners
  • Experience in reviewing and editing content for accuracy and credibility
  • Strong understanding of branding, marketing, and business development principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues

Responsibilities

  • Guide Numismatic Market Activity and Insights
  • Monitor market activity, auction trends, and collector behavior to produce timely insights and concise briefings for leadership and the business
  • Steward CoinFacts and the Set Registry
  • Own content direction, accuracy, and day-to-day prioritization in collaboration with Product, Data, and Grading
  • Align roadmaps with collector needs and credibility standards, and track impact on engagement and growth
  • Direct SR team members and employees to ensure updates are processed timely
  • Create Customer Targeted Editorial Content
  • Write and commission articles and analysis for PCGS publications
  • Develop educational content that elevates PCGS’s thought leadership and supports global brand building
  • Serve as Numismatic Contact for Leadership and the Business
  • Act as the internal go-to for complex numismatic questions across departments
  • Translate expert knowledge into clear recommendations for leaders and partners
  • Review numismatic content for accuracy across PCGS platforms, ensuring information shared publicly and internally meets the highest standards
  • Identify and cultivate new partnerships that advance PCGS’s strategic objectives
  • Cross-Functional Enablement
  • Equip Marketing, Sales, and Business Development with market context, competitive intelligence, and program updates
  • Partner with Grading and Research to ensure alignment on standards, terminology, and published guidance
  • Future Team Building
  • Help shape the vision, processes, and talent needs for a future Numismatic Research team, including mentoring junior contributors and organization structure and design
