Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • 5+ years of experience in allocation, planning or retail, with at least 2 years in allocation
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports
  • High level working knowledge of retail math
  • Ability to communicate persuasively and influentially, both verbally and in writing
  • Proven experience utilizing data to capture trends to make decisions that positively impact the business
  • High level proficiency in Excel with demonstrated history of developing tools and reports utilizing complex formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced functions (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities with a strong focus on collaboration
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and champion change
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute allocation strategies for the Nike Retail Store side of the business
  • Lead a team of allocators responsible for allocating product to store locations across the US
  • Create, evolve and utilize reports and tools to analyze the business to support decisions that maximize sales, inventory turn and profitability
  • Ensure consistent tools and reports are utilized by all allocators
  • Lead the effort to manage inventory in-season, highlighting risk and making cancel recommendations
  • Understand the styles that “pay the bills” and prioritize them accordingly
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of size curves to ensure core sizes are protected
  • Partner with Marketplace Ops & Supply Chain to ensure units arrive at stores in an efficient & timely manner
