Requirements

7+ years in a marketing role where you autonomously developed marketing/growth strategies and delivered successful campaigns
Proven track record in growing new users in a highly competitive environment
Regional expertise (language, culture, etc) for APAC geography; additional country expertise is a bonus
Advanced crypto knowledge including how crypto products work, crypto revenue models, and the crypto players in the region
Experience with marketing in a regulated business, preferably in financial services
Strong knowledge of marketing analytics including key ratios and performance metrics, attribution modeling, and A/B testing; proven use of these skills
Proven experience in generating awareness and persuading clients in APAC
Leadership experience in rapid growth and being a spokesperson in the region
Willingness to execute a multi-channel strategy autonomously
Familiarity with Kraken culture, values, mission, and app

Responsibilities

Develop marketing strategies to bolster Kraken’s market share in APAC, while working with cross-functional teams to execute
Grow new users in-region and improve performance across their customer lifecycle including initial onboarding, trading, and growth across Kraken’s product suite
Leverage global campaigns, creatives, content, and brand guidelines to localize according to the preferences of regional audiences
Develop local-first ideas that uniquely position Kraken’s brand and persuade potential customers to take calls to action
Execute hands-on tasks including producing content, planning/managing events, bolstering Kraken web pages, localizing ads, managing local social media handles, representing Kraken in PR and interviews, and more
Measure results; work with data to understand marketing performance and make recommendations to adjust for greater effectiveness
Drive local marketing strategy and execution, working cross-functionally with product, pricing, banking/funding, sales, and global marketing functions
Push for optimal Kraken positioning and competitiveness versus local competitors in APAC
