Requirements

  • MA / MSc from a top university, preferably in a relevant subject such as public health, medicine, life sciences, economics, epidemiology
  • PhD in a relevant subject from a top university (preferable)
  • Experience in global health or public health, with a solid understanding of key issues and current developments in the global health ecosystem
  • Knowledge of antimicrobial resistance
  • Experience working in the life sciences sector (industry or consulting) (preferable)
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with proven ability to handle multiple engagements of varying complexity, scale, and competing priorities
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset: anticipating issues early, analyzing and interpreting challenges, and resolving them effectively
  • Curiosity about developing and interpreting new insights, and ability to articulate the added value these bring to clients and collaborators
  • Ability to engage and establish lasting working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral); additional languages an advantage
  • Collaborative approach to work
  • Willingness and ability to travel

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Global AMR Lead, establish and operationalise IQVIA’s AMR Centre of Excellence, driving its vision and execution
  • Identify strategic opportunities to address AMR challenges for life sciences companies, healthcare providers, and global/local health agencies
  • Act as a bridge between industry, health systems, and global health, ensuring alignment and impact
  • Develop and champion innovative partnerships, including public-private collaborations and consortium models
  • Contribute to IQVIA’s broader global public health strategy, ensuring AMR initiatives integrate seamlessly
  • Represent IQVIA externally through conferences, webinars, and events, positioning us as a thought leader in global health
